2012 K1300R Carbon Fibre...sale

I ran into a guy at my BMW dealer today looking to sell his 2012 k1300r carbon fibre se...he is moving to the USA and he has tried everything to import the bike into the US but it's a no go....they won't allow it...the model was never available in the US.
It has 30k on it and that service has done....full BMW luggage....and gps....it's the same bike as mine...super rare.
Let me know if you might be interested...he's motivated obviously.....

I have a 2001 K1200 Ice Blue Marakesh in North Carolina that has less than 40000 miles on the clock that I could trade with him...

Beautiful bike.

I wonder then, how a K13R was being sold used at a California BMW dealer earlier this year?

Has he considered just riding it across when he moves and worrying about getting it registered once he's here? I've not looked into it, but I'm certain that if there is a will, there is a way.

I agree. Bring it over first, then worry about it.
