Dyno run & ECU remap at BSD Performance

Hi all,

I asked a question a month or so ago about whether or not my exhaust had a cat in it. I was hoping to prep the bike for being remapped, but it turned out that there wasn't really much I could do to open up the exhaust.

I did cut about 5" off the end and polished out the "Not for Road use" engraving. I realise this won't be to everyone's taste and/or approval, but I prefer it :-)

My appointment at BSD for the remap was today and I'm really happy with the results both in terms of rideability and the numbers my bike is making. Well worth the investment, and highly recommended. I've attached a print out of the dyno chart, in case anyone is curious.

Cheers all!

Pretty impressive figures for an already impressive bike

Cheers!

The bike was incredibly lean and I think the map went through three or four iterations before the bike was running as it should. The fuel was boosted by up to 17% in places

The bike was the full Akra system and the Evoluzione air intake kit. No other performance-related mods, not even a brake reservoir "racing sock"

Numbers look good mate!
Nice bike, bit of carbon fibre there, is that the model that came with all that or has it been added? I have the same akrapovic HP bellypan on my K1300r.
Is the evolutionize kit the twin air intake setup? Is it still available?

Re: Dyno run & ECU remap at BSD Performance

From what I can see on the original invoices, it was bought as a standard spec bike, but all the carbon/HP/Akra parts, etc were ordered at the same time and fitted before the bike was delivered to its original owner.

Yes, that's the twin air intake kit. I think I read that it isn't available any more, but could be mistaken. Can't be too hard to DIY it though?
