Stunning vocal on a great album. I always thought she was wailing as in a dirge due to its following the call to mass of the previous song.

Re: Aussie Off Topic Chat Thread...

Watched the road race at Northwest 200 in Northern Ireland on Saturday. Was most impressed by doctors on bikes who follow the racers around the course and provide medical intervention when needed. They ride around nearly as fast as the racers while carrying packs with medical equipment.

The video below is awesome to watch. It’s long but it’s brilliant. Unfortunately the doctor doing the talk died in 2015 whilst attending a crash scene.

Commentary displayed the required levels of humour in the many dire situations presented (in order to maintain own sanity, I guess).

I was riding around the area when these meatheads were there. I think it was a Grom rally and they were EVERYWHERE!! The level of stupidity in this is not surprising from what I personally witnessed.

Re: Aussie Off Topic Chat Thread...

Sydney siders. And that includes coasties Spikey. If you know Bumble hill at Yarramalong you’ll probably recall it being a bit of a goat track. Well not any more. Took advantage of the glorious winter day and went to Jerries for lunch where I was told they resurfaced the steeper section, about 4km. It’s like bloody racetrack. Smooth hot mix, brilliant. Not worth going all the way up just for the short stretch but if you’re in the area very much worth the detour.
Did have to take it a bit easy though, that area and old pacific hwy are normally fairly heavily policed. Today was ridiculous. 7 police cars at Jerries. Saw at least another 4 on the road up and back as well as 3 or 4 police bikes, one of them hiding and radioing ahead. .

Not worth going all the way up just for the short stretch but if you’re in the area very much worth the detour.
Did have to take it a bit easy though, that area and old pacific hwy are normally fairly heavily policed. Today was ridiculous. 7 police cars at Jerries. Saw at least another 4 on the road up and back as well as 3 or 4 police bikes, one of them hiding and radioing ahead. .

Someone needs to set up a donut van
