KTM GT
Had one on loan from a mate for the last few weeks i’ll Avoid complications like dealers/warranty etc but jeez what motor with a riding position closer to the K than an adventure bike.

Re: KTM GT
You might as well be talking Blondes or Brunettes or Apples and Oranges it’s what ever floats your boat but the one thing you can’t get away from is the motor it’s a fearsome piece of kit,the extra that the X/R lacks on the top end compare to the K it has that and a bottom end that would pull tree trunks out combine that with a QS and it’s very memorable.
In fairness probably more of a comparison to a K because of the riding position.

Re: KTM GT
I rode my XR with a mate that had a GT on several occasions including a Cape town and back 6500 km. I prefer the XR by far because the GT gets unstable over 220 km/h, had a plank seat and very little wind protection. The XR will run to 275 km/h without a problem and its active suspension is just sublime.
Having said that, I prefer my KTM 1290 SAS above both. In my limited opinion it is the current pinnacle of Adventure /Sport motorcycling. Don't get me wrong. The GT is a stonking bike as long as you are not over 6 ft and it it light and nimble in normal riding. My friend finally sold his because he said his reactions are not quick enough for the GT in normal riding conditions. It just fly's away from everything and then you have to react!
