Wow - Tech 3 Hand in Their Notice

Looks like Herve was more than a little p!ss@d when Yamaha said they would drop him for VR46 should he want it!

Will he run the new KTM MotoGP Team – With Lowes and Marquez as riders (tongue in cheek).

Re: Wow - Tech 3 Hand in Their Notice

The real story is what I posted during the Valencia test Yamaha told Herve that as and when Rossi retires he would run the customer team.

Iíve met Herve no end of times he is the perfect gent both respectful and pleasant with it but never ever forget first and foremost he is a business man and good at it hence why he has lasted so long.

The Japanese are a strange bunch paying lip service to PR but in reality keeping everyone at arms length despit all the years that Tech3 have had with Yamaha they never got any more or any less than what they could pay for the bike they got at the beginning of a season was virtually the same one at the end,Herve has seen his chance having already been told he would get the brush off when Rossi decided always better to jump than get pushed good luck to him.

Re: Wow - Tech 3 Hand in Their Notice

Strange Yamaha would tell Herve that so early. Who knows when Rossi will retire. Who knows if a VR46 motogp team will materialize. Seems they burnt a bridge with that. And sounds unlike the Japanese to commit to something that's not on paper yet.

Re: Wow - Tech 3 Hand in Their Notice

Sounds like it was just that time...

Knowing how Expensive and competitive motogp is, and how HARD it is for a satellite team to just stay relevant against the factory backed teams, and how well Tech3 has done in past years, I wonder if Herve might be looking for that golden parachute.

can't really blame him.

Re: Wow - Tech 3 Hand in Their Notice

Well iíll Hold my hands up now and say iím No Rossi fan and never have been iíve No problem with what he is!!! As in a very ambitious empire builder itís the happy smiley Chappy that grates on me when itís a facade heís a Wolf in sheeps clothing when it comes to business.

Rossi doesnít need to retire to take over the Tech3 slot his mechanism grows by the year.

What I forgot Monster nearly pulled the plug on Herve in 17 because he took on Zarco and Folger who they thought were no hopers and for you guys who donít understand the numbers Redbull could eat Monster alive when it comes to the $ numbers game so itíll be no loss going to the Austrian marques in more ways than one.

As A piece maybe useless info Herve is and only ever has been Co-owner of Tech3

Redbull and Monster Energy. heh, two energy drink producers.
Funny I've never tried either. Don't see them that much around here. Or maybe I'm just not looking.
