R9T front fender

I am getting a bit sick of the tar and crap that the front wheel of my wife's R9T throws up all over the place. It took me over an hours to clean the exhaust balancing tube alone - not to mention the muck thrown everywhere else.

Anybody done a longer front fender?

I have fitted a Puig hugger to the rear, but that did not help keep the mess down much either.

Cool looking bike, but a pain in the arse to keep looking that way !

Any ideas appreciated.

Re: R9T front fender

Paul ,

I've installed something similar to this : http://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-R-Nine-T...75.c100623.m-1 on my GSA , and it helps a lot ...

I'm sure that a little search would gives you more options to choose from .

Re: R9T front fender

I've heard of a product called fender extender that might help.

Thumbs up Re: R9T front fender

Hello Quiltzig,

I know your struggle with the short front mud guard..
Until now i haven't seen a bigger front fender.

One of my firends bought the following extension:

https://www.motorcycleparts-hornig.c...er-RnineT.html

This extenda fender is not expensive and helps alot.
He is very satisfied with this product.

Re: R9T front fender

Will the longer fender from a older R1200R fit?
