Useless for this seller, a goldmine for you perhaps?

I've got CF everything, except for bellypan, on my Lava Orange K13S.

Re: put the bike on a diet, a bit of carbon fiber.....

yup, he has all the bits one could want for sure....

the problem is if I add too much CF, I lose my Orange, and that's the part I like about the bike...

I did the inner covers, the clutch cover, and the 2 parts on the tank, I think that will be all....

the rear mud guard might be a contender.....

Re: put the bike on a diet, a bit of carbon fiber.....

I don't know, and I can't tell if it's a decal or painted on pin stripping, it's how I purchased the bike, it is under the clear coat, and it's on a lot of the body panels. The painting was done by a BMW dealership in the US, and then bike was imported to Canada, after the lady who won the bike in a raffle did not want it, dealership here had it for 2 years, sold it to a person, and then I bought it last year. Now I am just adding my own little touches to the bike.

Wish I had better pics, maybe get to taking some more this year...this shows more of the pin stripping, and before my exhaust addition, and some of the other CF bits

original picture of the bike in 2005 at the raffle

and sort of now

Trust me, you won't lose the orange.

If by mudguard, you mean the tail cowl, yes, and it will highlight the rear. Same with the winglets on the side of the tank. I wouldn't do the front fender after having seen your picture side by side with the original bike.

Bike looks great, and yes, the pinstriping looks well done.

Re: put the bike on a diet, a bit of carbon fiber.....

Thanks...you mean there would still be plenty of Orange....LOL

I guess the portion that is around the rear tail light would be about the only part left to do, to even out the back end.

I was thinking the inner mud guard, that part that would protect the rear shock from grime and the under carriage, it's not seen much, it's why I was debating on doing it or not...

Thanks, this could get dangerous
Did it fit nice or did you have to do some tweaking?

Re: put the bike on a diet, a bit of carbon fiber.....

A bit with a dremel to make some of the holes a bit bigger, and slim down some of the tabs, but nothing extreme, took my time and done in about a 1/2 hour, the thinner tank bit was the only one that needed tweaking, around where the gas cap ring went, the other bits fell right into place, with no issues at all.

I've added that part also. I think it makes the rear look better, but that's pretty subjective. It's also inexpensive, about $24 when I did it, and its functional. But its that plastic black matte, yet does not stand out like the other black finishes elsewhere on the bike.

Carbon looks good with the orange.

I see your carbon, raise you a matching seat and discs.

OK, you win this round. More carbon is a push with a full Ti system, but your bike is cleaner.

Re: put the bike on a diet, a bit of carbon fiber.....

Carbon fiber is a disease and addiction and must be stopped in our lifetime. If you let one tiny little bit of it sneak its way onto your bike, then you have tasted the forbidden fruit and will be cursed until you've bought everything in the catalog or completely emptied your wallet. I know dear friends that got so afflicted by this disease that when there was no more space to put another CF thing on their bike, they bought another bike and kept going.

Only the most forceful and determined intervention by your uninfected riding buddies can save you and your bank account once you've started down this path to CF hell.

Friends don't let friends put CF shit on their bikes.

Looks Tangerinatastic - but should we be encouraging rival carbon-based lifeforms?
