Post BMW R80-ST

Saw one of these yesterday with just over 1,000 miles on it.

It was ridden into the parking lot at Bowman Field in Louisville, KY.

There was an air show going on and some of the planes were leaving from this airport.

The owner had just purchased the bike and had it shipped in from California.

It belonged to one of two twins. The one twin only put 600 miles on this bike and it had been garaged.

The other twin rode the heck out of his.

The former bike looked showroom new including the seat and tires, although I did not inquire about replacements.

The bike, according to the owner, was a lowered version of the R80-GS.

Note the sheet metal over the muffler.
