Re: Matte Paint

Welcome Ahmed to the best forum on the planet. We look forward to your participation. The matte paint on your bike looks a lot better than I thought a matte finish would.

I change your tires, you buy them on the web, I do the work $40, trying to keep riders on the road.

Well ,, I'm pretty new to motorcycling (only six months) and this is my first bike .. and this was my first long distance trip ,, can not really judge the performance due to my limited experience ... but the bike was excellent.

I got this bike second hand with only 10Kmiles on the clock and very well maintained. Very happy with it ,, except the heavy wight and slow speed handling (problem in my limited capability and experience ,, not the bike)

Re: Matte Paint

Welcome to the site, and congrats on the bike. I like the paint scheme! And you'll get used to the handling of the bike with more experience. Are there riding schools where you live? If so you can probably get a lot of benefit from taking a riding course, and courses offered on racetracks are very valuable!

Re: Matte Paint

The bike you have is a little heavy. But it is dependable and good on the highway. It tends to start over heating if you are going less than 80 kmh. You will notice the temperature going up. I have owned three of them and they are great. Many members here still own one. You will learn a lot if you take some time and read threads in the K1200RS forum. Not so much fun in town.
