Re: Florida Biker Rammed by Car

Saw that last night on the news...another case of natural selection...the biker is a moron. He could have done many things to report the car and not get hit in the process.

Lucky to be alive.

Watch how close the biker comes to the large tree in the crash!

Re: Florida Biker Rammed by Car

In the heat of the moment the rider certainly wasn't thinking about the driver of the car running into him. Another example of why we must think before we act - especially when we are on two wheels and we want to go up against someone in four wheels.

Could have turned out really bad - pretty sure going forward the rider will not take on a car again.

As for the driver of the car when they find him - he should lose his license for how long I don't know a few years might just be long enough to teach him a lesson - maybe send him to anger management classes for the entire two years - random drug testing and make him take a motorcycle awareness safety course.

I'm not suggesting the driver was under the influence at the time of the incident - I'm just suggesting he is put through the wringer for a few years.

I say send him to jail for assault with a deadly weapon or attempted manslaughter.

Yes that would work and still after he gets out of jail no license for a few years and put him through the wringer.

Yep. If you get convicted of a crime like this, you should be in the wringer for a long time.

Re: Florida Biker Rammed by Car

This copy/pasted from an ABC Action News story...

The driver who was involved in a motorcycle road rage incident in Sarasota on Sunday evening was arrested on Tuesday night.

Magdiel Medrano-Bonilla, 30, who police identified as an illegal immigrant, has been charged with operating a motor vehicle without a valid license and aggravated battery. His bond has been set at $20,000.

"He was following the story and he was doing everything he could to do destroy the evidence involved in this, which almost killed a motorcyclists," said Sheriff Knight.

Knight said Medrano-Bonilla is an illegal immigrant from El Salvador. ICE has placed a hold on him.

So an illegal? Will any charges be pushed? Or will he just be depoted? Or will immigration violations be added?

20k bond?

50/50 chance he'll skip and head home on his own.
