K1300GT 7000k service interval reset?

I don't suppose this is as easy as ignition on, bike in neutral, and tapping the brake three times?

The service reminder can be removed either by the dealer when you bring it in for service or if you have a GS-911.

Re: K1300GT 7000k service interval reset?

What will a GS911 set me back, and where do I find one?
Thanks Bruce.

Re: K1300GT 7000k service interval reset?

You can find a used blue tooth version maybe, I just sold one for a bit over $100. Read the website to learn about them your bike does not need a WiFi version but what the heck. It works from an Iphone when your on the road. They do much more than resetting the service code. By the way the normal service increment is 6000 miles or 10,000 kilometers.
The most frequent use I get out of the gs911 is help with a complete bleed of brakes, it will activate and test the system when your in the middle of the process to flush out the ABS module. And you will be able to help your fellow neighborhood BMW riders. Don't buy a Chinese copy, no bueno. The cost does not end at the unit, you will need a garage computer, a cheap notebook is an easy way to go.

I change your tires, you buy them on the web, I do the work $40, trying to keep riders on the road.
