I've enjoyed reading the discussions on this forum and have learned a thing or two that helped me enjoy my 03 K1200GT - many thanks!

Welcome aboard Ed!! I grew up in H'ville and love getting back to N. AL when I can to visit my buddies. Great place to be for riding the bike!!

Smile Appreciate the Warm Welcome!

I appreciate the warm welcome. Hope to have a pic uploaded soon. I've had the bike since new, but only started doing my own wrenching last year - new springs, refurbed steering damper, and distribution hose replacement. Replacing the dreaded rear main seal is next on the list.

The nearest reputable dealer to me is in Chattanooga, TN. Between the resources here and a few other K-bike/LT related forums, I have been able to get the job done.

It is good to know there are enthusiast communities that still appreciate these motorcycles. Thanks again.
