It's almost like you are disappointed! Listen, root canals are nothing to joke about. That other stuff is painful, root canal is torture.

They don't even need to Hoover (vacuum) the saliva under it!

Gee, I was going to send the GSA out to Washington State and have you ride it to your place to
store until I could get there this spring. When are you going to be fit to ride?

Don't think that I'll be walking before May.
I know I wrote a month at 15lbs pressure but it's really 6 weeks... Have you tried what 15lbs pressure on a foot feels like? It's not much... The physiotherapist made me practice with a scale till I got it down pat.
Went to Wallmart today and "walked around" for a couple of hours to get my physio work done.
The crutches will be standard equipment till at least the end of April.
Should graduate to a cane next...
I'm hoping that I can start riding in June.
Might need a Russell day long...

You might want to send that bike in September.

Cheers bud

I feel your pain and I hope your doing better.
I fractured my pelvis in six places. Had to have L3, L4 & L5 fused. Work place accident messed me up good.
Went for my first ride after 17 months last week.
I still hurt but the drugs are good and the beer is cold.

Re: Screwed up...

Haven't been hobblin' down main street of late... it's been snowing!

Can't get out iffin it's slippery...

So I'm doing a lotta nuthin' these days... sitting around and watching bad tv.

There's talk of a visit from a fellow i-BMW member from south the border... like a seven hour drive... in summertime!

I'll keep ya posted.

Definitely a candidate to a MOTY award!!

Or some Scotch...

Re: Screwed up... an unexpected visit

I had a visitor last week.

He drove all day, left right after the church service Sunday morning from the NW corner of Washington State, slept in Republic, WA and drove the next day, two more hours to get here in Rossland, BC.

We had a great visit. The highlight of the week! (if not more...)
What great gesture! Only on I-BMW...

He was bearing all kinds of gifts: prolly 5lbs of frozen blueberries from his garden, Wild Alaska sockeye salmon, a jar of blueberry jam he made himself, another jar of blueberry jam Darlene made,( Mrs. Beech to you guys...), and last but least, some pretty awesome SHINE! (How about that, eh Eddie! Kinda brings back some memories, eh Rob? )
Best I had this side of Danville, KY!

Thank god, I had some excellent Glenrothes single malt waiting to be sipped by some appreciative disciples and some pretty good leftover BBQ ribs in the fridge so that I could feed him somewhat decently. We finished the meal with a taste of the shine he brought right across the border. (legally??? )

At the end of the afternoon he got back in his monster pickup truck with an 8" lift, drove off in the sunset to Republic, WA, where he was spending the night again. The next day he was back home by mid afternoon after heading out at 4:30am. WOW!

Had this been done on his RR, you coudda said, hey, why not? It's a beautiful ride.
But in wintertime, over a couple of frozen passes covered in snow...
Not a joyride!
He ain't a poser...
He deserves a standing ovation!

Who might you ask was the good friend?

Andy aka Howkan.

These guys from up there in NW Washington: Beech, Ken, Alan and Andy. You guys are the top shelf!

Cheers bud

Here he is sippin' some of the smoothest scotch...

Well worth the trip from my point of view to spend a day with a guy like Louis. Must make one correction, though. Lest some people get the wrong idea, it was not early Sunday morning church meeting but an early morning hockey game. There is is a difference......................

I sort of feel like a stranger around these parts but Louis just let me know about this big get off. Dang man, you sure know how to screw up some bone matter. I was just sitting here with my son and telling him Louis is broken, he liked all the Nurse pics but had his own pic to offer. Jett says at least he can wipe his own ass, unlike having his two broken arms last summer.

Toto has a toilet that will do that. You can have one for about $4,000 US (wholesale)
Installation is extra.

I remember DWard, red RS from Toronto right? His user info must've gotten lost with the original site.

Man... Even rarer than a K12 wheelieing is a pic of Vics at a rally... Bonus points for Shiva being his right hand man!
More bonus points for Pete Lewis being sober.
Triple bonus points for Hope caught by the camera at the only rally she ever attended..

Re: Screwed up...

Saw orthopod today.
The bad news is I get to go another week @ non weight bearing or so (15lbs)

But after that, I start putting weight on at a 10% clip or so every 2-3 days as long as it's comfortable.
Should be w/o crutches in 6-7weeks or so... Maybe a cane...

We'll see!

He said no golf : YEAH!!

Biking: OK

Motorcycling: Can't see why not?

Things are lookin' up!
