I signed up years ago and have never done much here. However, I just purchased a 2003 K1200RS with 14k miles. Sweet ride and my first BMW. Pretty darn excited.

I have been on Hondas for the last umpteen years. Have done a few long distance rides such as SS1000, BBG1500, 48 in 10 etc.. My LD riding days may be behind me, but this bike could certainly do the job, even with the limited distance between fill-ups.

Have a great Labor Day weekend. I'm going to carve some canyons on the front range of Colorado.

Re: New old member from Colorado

Back again (again), with a new to me bike. I just bought (but not yet picked up) '08 R1200RT. I just couldn't get comfortable on the K1200RS. These old bones just need to sit a bit more upright. Looking forward to a few more LD rides.
