2013 s1000rr.

2013 s1000rr ,25000 milesLARGE fish eye shavings in oil pan ,really nasty noise coming from engine..my local bmw shop daid sell it now! any thoughts or ideas.. could this be related to the 2012 engine problems,are yhey hiding something..

I agree - your shop telling you to sell it now certainly does not sound good to me. Now if they said to you sell it now - instead of repairing it and get what you can for it - that is a different story - as long as the buyer knows the condition of the engine.

Never heard of 1 2013 having the connecting rod bolt issue.

Surprised your shop didn't have some sort of idea what was going on?
