New addition to the stable

I've wanted one of these for many years and came close to buying one located about 80 miles from me. The seller wanted more than I felt the bike was worth given its maintenance needs and the fact that he has no provenance, i.e., no records, nothing. I really shied away from it when he told me his daughter had it up to 160mph on the Jersey Turnpike when she lived back east.....

Well, it's a good thing he rejected my lowball offer because a few days later I stumbled up on this beauty:

It's an '04 with 4800 miles on the odometer, original owner, ALL documentation including the temp tag the selling dealer issued with the bike. I got it for a little less than the other seller was asking for his '03 even after factoring in shipping costs from Indiana to Colorado.

Re: New addition to the stable

Very pretty & one of my favorite Ducati's. I almost bought one almost identical to yours about 5 years ago. Would've got it too but I hesitated & by the time I decided to do the deed, it was gone. I still kick myself over that one.

Nice find Randy!!

Beautiful looking bike - heck it looks way better than either of my 2016 bikes.

Re: New addition to the stable

They sure do look related.
One a touring version, the other, sport.
What do I know? I see a nice Ducati and get wood and can’t think straight.

Here's one thing they have in common; their exhaust note is like sex in my ears.
