Help!!.. Need Vin # Location!!

The nightmare of DMV begins...
I can't for the life of me find the VIN numbers or engine numbers, before I go tearing the plastics off for the search. Any able to tell me were the engine & VIN numbers are??

Thanks a Bunch.. And Merry Christmas Happy Hanukkah

Re: Help!!.. Need Vin # Location!!

On my 2014 K1300S the VIN# is stamped in the frame - just behind the engine clutch cover.

So just on the side of this post.

And the front.

Thanks Bruce,

Your direction saved extra trips to the DMV.. Hidden behind the clutch line, well that was a real surprise..

Also saved you from having to open the owners manual (it's shown there).

Re: Help!!.. Need Vin # Location!!

Well that would be too easy now wouldn't it? I like taking pics anyway plus I couldn't find my manual.

Re: Help needed ASAP!.. Vin #

I'm looking to buy an K12S 2005. I just need to know if any of the recalls have been accomplished prior to buying so, My question: Will any BMW dealership provide me the records on the bike with the VIN numbers?

They can, but not always certain that they will. It's a mood thing. Be nice to them and they should.
