Talking Your best motorcycle travel picture ever...

I open this thread to have a broader collections of 'Homepage Photo candidates' to choose from.
...posting your picture here will add the chance of you hitting '15 mins' of glory'...

Criterias:
aaa - bigger then 600x450 pixels (preferable 800x600)
bbb - 'crystal clear' image.
ccc - a BMW K series motorcycle must be present.

I will start this off;
BMW K1200S at The North Cape, Norway. Europe's northernmost point at 71 degrees 10 minutes and 21 seconds North.
August 2007.

Your turn next !!!

Re: Your best motorcycle travel picture ever...

Since SGR is going on now...well....this one comes to mind:

Sonora Pass......Elevation: 9,624...SGR 2009

Or this one....cause it has the sign....

Or this one......also from Sonora....ahh..the road!!

It's TOUGH to pick just one!

Re: Your best motorcycle travel picture ever...

Visted my daughter in Hollywood CA. She surprised me for my birthday with a present.... a new K1300S for the day!! A motorcycle rental van pulled up in front of her house and the guy off loads K13s tricolor and hands me the key. Without knowing the areas, I stumbled upon Mulholland Dr and ended up on Topanga Canyon Road. It was like I died and went to heaven! Later I came around a curve and there was the Pacific Ocean and the curviest road I've seen. HOLY SHIT that was fun. Best birthday ever.

I know I have better pics from my trips to Alaska. They are on color slides and my Apple is in storage so no way to convert to digital. Here is one from KHR 2008 that I like.

Death Valley March 2010

Every year I have business in Vegas in March. And every year I rent a K bike at Las Vegas BMW Motorcycles. While my peers are gambling, partying or "other things" in the city I take a ride over the hill into Death Valley.

This is a shot I took on the trip in 2010.

This is just the one that comes to mind. I remember thinking.."Wow, there is NOTHING out here". Was a good moment for my best friend and I to realize that we were finally in the southwest and just taking it all in.

Re: Your best motorcycle travel picture ever...

Oh that uncrated K16GT had to be a good one.
That would be a sweet start to a 100K mile relationship. And given the cruising speeds you can do that mileage would be done within a short period of time.
Sweet.

Re: Your best motorcycle travel picture ever...

Gulf Coast, Baja, California, November, 1983, had just cracked the oil sump on this GS some 20 miles south of the tiny fishing village of Puertocitos, it lead to another memorable adventure.....Somewhere I have the Road Rider magazine article about that adventure, which would be fun to post up.

Really loving everyone's pictures! So many fun times...

Here are some of mine:

In DC

In Harrisburg, PA, the day I brought her home from the dealership.

Fountain Head Regional Park in VA

With Lee and Debbie's bikes at BRPR 2012

With Westbound (Kent) also at BRPR

More BRPR on Route 150 in West Virginia... possibly my favorite road I've ever ridden on.

Heading home from BRPR on BRP:

My favorite I've taken here in Germany
