The search for clean air.

The stock screen on the XR for me has buffeting, so I first read good reports of the Puig Touring screen and ordered one, while it does create a nice quiet bubble to ride in I just cant abide the "Top Hattish" look of it --- well ok maybe in the winter if its cold enough out.

So next I got the Puig Race screen and while it is shorter and has less buffeting than the stock shield, it stil produces some, but I can live with it.

So since I had an acceptable solution I decided to take the stock shield and cut it down, this is not the finished product but was good enough to test ride it to see if I wanted to clean it up further.

I painted the back side of it flat back and am thinking of having a friend do something custom on the front and protecting it with ceramic pro or xpel the putting some small black edging along the top to finish it off.

I rode it to work today and now have clean air from the shoulders up!

Just getting the screen down to the level I have always liked
