I am officially GS free

Sold the GSA today. XR and SAS much more exiting bikes to ride.
Was a good 4 years and 40 000 km on and offroad.

Convinced the GS is the worlds best touring bike. But for me now
it has become boring compared to the XR and KTM SAS 1290.

Must also say that the driveshaft problems and the front suspension collapses which has now caused many crashes worldwide made it easy.
Will probably teach BMW not to let stuff made in China and sold at Motorrad prices.

The S bikes are fun. I see BMW has a new part number for the GS front fork tubes. I wonder if there will be a recall like the rear drive spider. Should be. The XR is too tall for me and I like the single R.

I change your tires, you buy them on the web, I do the work $40, trying to keep riders on the road.

Re: I am officially GS free

Now that the KTM 1290 Super Adventure S have been declared the top adventure bike in the world by Motorrad Magazine ( independent of BMW), I am sure BMW will respond.

Exiting times.

Re: I am officially GS free

Congrats on your new bike !
My friend test rode one last weekend, it's very nice and properly quick.
BMW has just refreshed their GS line, we won't see any new stuff for at least a year.

Re: I am officially GS free

I like that my S1000XR takes the same exact same size tires that my K1300S took. Metzeler M7RRs are perfect on this thing. Hmm. Must order some now for SGR.
