Mirror Mounting

While I am thinking about it.....

Left mirror (and some other plastic) victim of missing Bambi
on a rural road in NC Low Country last May. Nipples don't allow replacement
to seat properly. Possible tweak in the mounting frame.

Anyone ever thought of velcro similar to the headlight cover
attachment dots? Seems I might have more alignment options
that way.
