Re: How about a picture of YOU with your GT?

Now, why do we have to limit it to GT's and sunny beaches?

Why not S's and crap weather too?

Re: How about a picture of YOU with your GT?

i just like the shirt
but....
as a kid, growing up in western connecticut...
i spent many a wonderful day at Shea stadium with my dad
late 60s
jerry koosman
tom seaver
etc

of course.....
i live in YANKEE COUNTRY now....
with their practice facility a few miles away

and.....
i'm fortunate to know the steinbrenners professionally.... and they give me a much harder time for being from BOSTON originally (and being SOX fan)

but....
that's another story

Ok, Greg,
Here's a picture of myself, and Betsy and Miles Miller:

And here's a picture of my K12GT. Sorry they are not together:

And here's one of Miles Miller on his CGM GT and his wife, Betsy on her R1200ST, departing Taos, NM.

Just to see if I can attach a picture to a reply. If the picture is attached, it was taken on the way to New Mexico for my 1st ride in the mountains after trading my '03 GT for this '07.

Re: How about a picture of YOU with your GT?

Yeah,

Maybe the best part of owining Beemers is the website and threads like this one where we get to share our passion for the bikes with a few pictures, that rarely get posted, of all of us in one pose or another.

Thanks John, for taking the shots of us from the "Ride Tales" forum and posting them here.

You're right, Vic. This thread is going to hell in a handbasket.

Tailbag sag is fugly. So, here's what I have done for mine. I get various shipments of stuff at office/home with nice stiff cardboard boxes. Take a close fit box and JAM it in the tailbag. Looks a lot better AND I even think it fits more. Nah, just looks better.

Re: How about a picture of YOU with your GT?

No pic of ME, sorry. I'm too freakin' ugly. But this pic of my GT was taking west of San Jose somewhere, right on the coast. The morning fog had not yet burned off. My wife says this pic reminds her of something you'd see in a BMW brochure. Due to size, I had to crop it some.

Here is a pic of the wife and I in Palos Verdes, CA around the bend from our home. You can't tell because of the fog, but Catalina Island is behind us.
