R&G fork protectors

Got a set of these that arrived yesterday. The kit is just the two bobbins and a steel rod. However, the rod is 6mm(ish) but the centre of the wheel spindle is about 3 times this size!!. Shouldn't there be some kind of plastic spacer to centre the bobbins (there was on me SV1KS). I'll call the supplier tomorrow but checking for experiences here also.
Cheers

The "bobbins" have a turned down area that centers them in the axel. There is no play after they are tightened.

My bobbins are straight/ flat on both sides - dont see how they will centre. Looks like i would need to just best guess centre and then tighten. I'm sure my sv fork protectors had either a seperate spacer, or a turning down on the inside of a bobbin.
Cheers,
Andrew.
