Question KN oil filters O-ring??

The BMW filters use a rubber o-ring.

How about the KN filters?

Don't know, don't care. Never used one, never will. But I understand they have a quickly detachable nut option for drainage purposes.

Are you talking about a filter for an RS? If so, I think the only o-ring is for the access cover and I don't think that comes with a K&N filter. I've used the K&N on my GS( same filter) but on the 1150, it's not submerged in oil.

Exactly right.

Hadn't done the oil change myself for a while.

If you need the o-ring, I can mail you one. I get my filters from beemerboneyard. They come with the o-ring I think.

Thumbs up Re: KN oil filters O-ring??

Thanks for the offer.

I'm planning on visiting the dealership soon and will pick one up then.
