GoPro Mounting

I know this has been asked before, but I'm hoping for some updates or new options for mounting a GoPro on the K1300S.

After too many close calls on the moto & bicycle here is suburbia, my wife bought me a new Hero5 to use as a "dash cam". It works great on the bicycle, mounting on the handlebars (I'll save the rear-facing seat rail mount for when I'm racing at the velodrome), but I have yet to find an acceptable mounting location on the motorcycle. Earlier threads recommended using the suction cup mount. With my motorsports color scheme, that puts it very low on the side of my 2015- which is great for cool ride sharing videos, but not as a seeing traffic on the daily commute. I also don't think I would trust the suction cup day after day.

Does anyone have any other options? The tinted screen precludes placing it on the tank or on the tree- although I might try that this weekend using the GPS' Ram Mount ball, just to see how badly the view is compromised by the screen. I even thought about mounting on the chin of my Shoei RF1100, but I haven't found anything acceptable there due to the multiple angles and tight radius curves.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

John

Re: GoPro Mounting

John, how about between the air intakes above the front wheel, or hanging down from the handlebars on either side?

Re: GoPro Mounting

RAM suction mount. Works really well and provides a great shooting angle. Handles speeds of 260km/h +
