According to Murphy’s Law, it’s more likely to pick up the nail when new...

Just bought a new bike in February. 1st trip out ( 360 miles ) picked up a nail. Was lucky, it went in at an angel. Didn't puncture the tire. 2nd trip out, went to Daytona for the wknd, picked up another nail, this time it went thru. Had to plug the tire. Rule #1, Never leave the house without a tire repair kit!

Where can I get one of the angels that protect my tires from punctures. I think I might need one of those over the next couple of weeks on my ride to Alaska. And do I have to behave myself to keep the angel with me? That might be a non-starter.

I don’t think you need to behave, but “Don’t ride faster than your guardian angel can fly” is always good advise...
