Re: Buriram Test

Yeah - the fastest WSB guys were in 1.33s , mind you they had no qualifying tyres for that meeting. We will get to see them there again in six weeks and see how they go this year as Dorna attempts to slow them down some more. Not really sure which way that championship is going - I really don't like the format anymore.

It sounds like a fast track where the bikes can really stretch there legs!

Re: Buriram Test

The problem that Dorna have with WSB is they have a manufacturer that is prepared to spend more than the others because Kawasaki refuse to run a GP team

Combine that with the fact that Ducati have never played by the rules and the rules are being changed on the hoof.

Compare that with Moto GP two years ago everyone had to use the Same software developed by Magneti Marelli what do Ducati do?? Poach all the Marelli staff that developed the software and the Japanese have been playing catch up ever since.

What you are seeing with Honda they have finally caught up.

Re: Buriram Test

I think you will be saying that a lot more tracks are Honda tracks this year, after the debacle in 16 when both Pedrosa and Marquez were given a frame each by HRC and they both said it was crap so they gave both to Crutchlow and he won 2 GP’s and Honda quickly worked out that neither of the factory guys could be trusted for a direction when it came to development.

Hopefully Crutchlow will have a better year this year now he has had some input into the bike. Only problem I can see is if the bike gets better then MM will just disappear .....

Re: Buriram Test

Seemed like to me the main reason Crutchlow was retained by Honda was for his ability to develop the bike FOR Marquez last year.
Otherwise, Im sure they would love another young gun to develop on that team.

Vinales and Yamaha and Rossi look a bit lost.
Vinales for all his pouting still couldn't sort the chassis when he got to develop things "his way."
