Meteler K3 Med

Has anyone tried these tires on their K? I'm going to Buttonwillow in July(105F) and want to try a stickier tire. Reviews and experiences welcome.

Re: Meteler K3 Med

The K3s were fitted as standard on the HP2 Sport. They are a road legal track tyre. They were useless in the wet and I like a lot of other HP2 owners immediately changed them for something more suitable.

So if you are confident that you won't meet any rain then go ahead. If you're not confident then steer well clear.

Note that the recommended pressures are 2.2 front and 2.5 rear - so about 30/36 compared with the normal 36/42. Whether your K13 will react well to these lower pressures is something I doubt.
