I think it might have been Mattb buying new tires.

Re: Most Important Moto Event of 2018????

I live in the BMW world. So, I have to agree with the variable cam lift and timing. But the big twin R1800 bikes will be a bid deal for BMW. I think the shift to mid size and price motorcycles will help the industry. Not many folks can shell out 20K+++ for a motorcycle. Plenty of fun on the new bikes is to be had. This generates new members of the motorcycle cult. The Royal Enfield bike coming will push Harley even harder. The industry is trying hard to come back and stop the slide. With the coming recession again it is tough, recovery from the last one is still in memory. Small bikes, transition to electric bikes as the cross country tour rider is a small part of the bike world. Lots to the picture.

Re: Most Important Moto Event of 2018????

Im interested to see if HD's electric bike has any teeth. But thats stuff for 2019.

Ducati's superbike v4 transition was a big deal.

The market share rise of KTM and triumph has been noteworthy.
