Just won my first ebay auction! Snagged a AC Schnitzer Handle Bar conversion for $113 bucks!

Also there is a low seat on ebay if anyone needs that.

These bags are so good, better than the new version IMHO. I have both and the new one doesn't sit as well on the bike and tends to leak.
He might even come down in price.....

Hi All
I need the bit of plastic that covers the wiring on the back of the mirror - for right hand K1300s.
Otherwise I have to buy a whole mirror - ouch!
thanks

Re: K1300/1200 Parts in Australia

Much like asking, "would this woman, be a good wife."

Zorst's are a personal thing, IMO. Is one better than the other? probably not.

Remus, Laser, 2dicks, staintune, Trident, Leovince..as Heapy said at the rally, just the "tone" that is a little different, and that decision is from what 'you' hear.

Just an opinion, & we all know what they are like, the 2brothers has an un-uniform afterthought link-pipe, BUT, Mark has had no problems with his, & it sounds pretty sweet...too me. I like all exhausts......LONG AS ITS LOUD...

....Akrapovic....

No grasshopper, they don't have a mid pipe as such, 2 into one that goes s-bend fat for muffler.

They are a lighter engine pipe, aaand, I'd say lesser longevity than the original, but hey, when did practicality ever become a ruling factor?

BTW, Ima watcher (ebay) I like too watch....

Titanium is a different kind of cat. I have flown the Beechcraft King Air B200 with PT6 turbine engines. The exhausts are made of titanium. At night they glow cherry red at all times. We flew many hours with no degradation or failures of the exhausts. I wouldn't worry about longevity just based on the material. The thickness may be an issue if subjected to excessive vibration.

Re: K1300/1200 Parts in Australia

My girlfriend ended up getting the full akro system for me and picked up the power commander for $200 from the same guy.
in top condition just needed a clean.
She has been thinking about getting herself a k1300r as well after riding mine so I brought the remus in case she gets one if not I'll be moving it along in a few weeks.
PM me if anyone is keen.

That girlfriend sounds like a keeper.

Thought as much about the Akra....some people can't see wood for trees.

She is
She has a r1150r rockster and has just sold her 1050 speedtriple to either get the new ducati café racer or a late model k1300r as she keeps knocking mine off when I'm away at work.

Re: K1300/1200 Parts in Australia

Older model BMW Navigator III and Cradle, bargain for $120 the lot. Other picture on ad shows all the extras including the cradle.
Make sure the plugs-in for the bike are the right ones and in working order. Should be.

Re: K1300/1200 Parts in Australia

Hey All
I have this set of Wibers shocks for a K12/13. They were bought by a mate of mine when his ESA rear shock failed. The bike was out of warranty so he bought these. After a strongly worded letter to BMW Australia they came to the party and replaced the rear shock. Kudos to them! These have never been fitted and are set up for an 85kg rider. (No good for you Matty, you're twice that ) and are NIB. Asking price is AUD1500. Cost was AUD2500 including postage. PM me if you're interested.
