The Great West Elk / San Juan Loop

I took the K1200S on this loop. It started right out my back door and was incredibly satisfying. Very little traffic - Twisties - sweepers - triple digits up Wolf Creek Pass and temps in the 60s. 450 miles and 7 hrs including gas stop and lunch in Lake City.

Re: The Great West Elk / San Juan Loop

Once out of South Fork / the road was new and wide all the way over WCP. No traffic and huge swath of highway, go immediately to jail speeds /that was a very fast trip between South Fork / Pagosa Springs.
