Re: Bar Ends

On my RS I found it cut what little buzz I had, added cruise (Throttlemeister) and added a bit of width to the bars for more leverage in parking lots. Really a lot of gain for the price!

Re: Bar Ends

Got my Evotech Handlebar End Weights today and they don't fit!

The shaft of the outer weight doesn't fit into the recess of the inner weight.

The supplier is going back to Evotech to find out what is going on.

The part number is correct so it would appear that their quality control is slipping.

Re: Bar Ends

Cymarc make very good quality metal bits. I have radiator guards and a sump guard extender plate for my GSA from them and both are tip top.

Re: Bar Ends

Update. Evotech said that the paint shop is at fault when they powder coat the end weights. They are putting on the paint too thick so they don't fit together anymore.

I would have thought that they should have allowed for the paint thickness when they machined them. The ones to be painted to be a different size to the ones they are going to leave unpainted. It didn't used to be a problem so I am guessing a different paint technique has been adopted.

Anyway, they are going to send me a new set direct from the factory so all is good. (hopefully)
