Good Gawd... 930 ft/lb

So, I realize that I'm not timely here and this may be old news to some of you, but I just saw an article on the latest Cummins 6.7 diesel. 930 ft/lb

I already felt like my old 2003 one ton could pull a house if needed. 930 ft/lb is just incredible.

Hey Matt why don't you spring for a new truck with this engine - and get a really big trailer so you can haul all your stuff plus all your friends!!!

By that time I for sure will either be retired from track days or maybe a guy you knew way back when.

Re: Good Gawd... 930 ft/lb

My daughter's boyfriend drag races an F-350 at the strip near Denver. I didn't get the details on it except for the claim that it's making over 1,500 ft. lbs of torque. He's blown 7 differentials in it already. He tells me that if the front doesn't hook up properly it'll blow the rear differential every time. It's hard to imagine why anyone would drag race an F-350 but there ya go.
