Aaargh - time for a new clutch!

Hi All,

Just rolled over 50k miles on my '07 GT and have noticed lately that when I roll the throttle for acceleration at ~ >80mph - the motor revs with no appreciable increase of speed until I throttle back and am more gentle in the roll-on motion.

Dangit - I'm thinking clutch and it's a better winter than spring problem.....

I live in the SF bay area - I'm not completely averse to doing this repair myself; however, I'm in the middle of a bathroom remodel that I am doing on my own...

Thoughts? Suggestions?

Thanks!
Stephen

John, thanks for the help! Ted Porters shop gets a definite 'thumbs up' -- the GT is running great and I'm glad to have gotten this work done quickly and more importantly - properly.
