License Plate Relocation

I am trying to reduce the "stuff" hanging below the rear of my K1300S. I had a license plate re-locator kit on my previous K1300S, but I have not found an listing for the company that previously sold them. I believe they were discontinued.

Anyone know if those re-locator kits are still available and a source? Thanks.

Re: License Plate Relocation

A cheaper but more radical solution is to take off the turn signals. Get a license plate frame with turn signals. Hacksaw and file the existing mount. The plate comes out at a pretty good angle from the ground, but is legal in California. I have never been questioned about the plate mounting.

Re: License Plate Relocation

Thanks guys. Got in touch with Beech. I've bought other items from him, gotten advice, and always had good experiences. He says his work with the S1000.. also for those who might be interested.

Re: License Plate Relocation

Here is what my little plate adapter does. Be cool or be square. (just noticed plate, 2010, time goes on.)

Re: License Plate Relocation

Is there significance for you in the ME262 number? I met and talked to an active duty Luftwaffe F104 Wing Commander that flew the ME262. After a few beers, the conversation got very interesting. They arranged for me to ride in the back seat in one of their two-seat F104s.

Re: License Plate Relocation

ME262 seems more menacing than "Schwalbe" = Swallow.

Re: License Plate Relocation

ME262 was the first jet fighter, kind of goes with the speed of the bike and the motto of this forum, "flying without wings" if I'm not mistaken.
