SPOILER - Motegi MotoGP

Well, its on, great qualifying with a somewhat surprising pole-sitter, looks like it could be a great race, Pedrosa is out having broken his collar bone in an early practice session, Lorenzo crashed in the final practice injuring his foot, but is on the grid, and Rossi said he's struggling with an illness....

Re: SPOILER - Motegi MotoGP

It would be fun to see what Cal Crutchlow could do with one of the factory GP bikes and team support.

Re: SPOILER - Motegi MotoGP

Cal seems to have significantly upped his pace, maybe Honda will have him ride Pedrosa's bike for the next race or two???

Here's a link to Lorenzo's high side practice crash he was flying....

Re: SPOILER - Motegi MotoGP

Lorenzo, MM, Rossi all tied for career poles. 64 each.

I wish Lorenzo would stay with Yamaha and the three fight for another year. It seems the drama from previous years is dying down. And they race each other like gentleman.

And baring an unfortunate career ending crash he is going to win many more. He will be 24 years old in February - if he can last another 10 years - he's going to have a lot more championship trophies.

No doubt about that. He won two championships on raw brute force talent and now that his judgement has risen to the level of his talent, he's going to win a lot of championships. Now that the championship chase is over, it'll be interesting to see how all of these guys approach the remaining races.
