Spoiler - MotoGP season opener

MotoGP Season Opener in Qatar

I'll be watching a lot of TV over the next four days...
NCAA Sweet 16 starts tonight and if NC wins the whole thing, I win a couple grand in my pool. And will be streaming the practices and races from MotoGP.com.

Should be an interesting season, especially if Vinales can keep it on two wheels. Great weekend of racing, F1 starts at Phillip Island this weekend as well.

Re: MotoGP season opener

I will be taking in the Austin TX race, then at the end of the season, I will be at the Philip Island race!

I am excited... I am taking my girlfriend to the Austin race and will be taking my wife to Philip Island... and it is ALL HER idea!!!!

Viñales will be tough to beat, he will certainly be top three for the year. I hope Rossi can make the top slot but Marquez is always tough and Viñales seems to be barreling into the season. Those are just my predictions for the season!

Better stick your winnings on young Vinales before the bookmakers cotton on . . .

Vinales will be good to see this year, if he did what he did with the suzuki team, I can see a bright future with the Yammies. Will be interesting to see Lorenzo with the Ducs, I reckon that the only ones that made those ducs work were Stoner and Iannone

Ahh It is in Santiago del Estero then :-), will be hot. So where are you Bernardo? I'm from Buenos Aires, grew up in San Isidro, Martinez Precisely, got married moved to Caballito, then migrated to Australia 25 years ago. I'm still having my mom and some family there. Went this year to be with my mom (usually I bring her this way, every year for Christmas for around 3 months at the time, but she didn't want to come, getting Older touching the 80, long fly). Anyway, thanks for the coffee offer mate, it may have to be a good ASADO due to the distance LOL. Enjoy the GP, be safe and take good photos of yourself and bike !

Re: MotoGP season opener

I'm looking forward to this season - certainly looks like there is going to be more than the usual crew making it to the podium this year.

And I am not giving up on my favorite rider "Rossi" just can't count him out.

More than the usual crew???? Lol...there were 9 different winners last year!! A record! What are you talking about Bruce? I doubt very much that that will ever happen again.

Re: MotoGP season opener

How fate connects people in strange places. Thank you so much for hosting a great summer ride with really nice people. Again, THANKS for helping me improve my current ride. As for the race, BMW's seem to be down the pecking order in MotoGP. Are they not putting $ into Racing Programs or do not have the riders? Rick

Racing generates street sales, and BMW doesn't have a sales problem, so they don't have a factory team. I'm sure if they did, they wouldn't have a problem finding riders.

Then way would honda bother?? They sell more bikes than all brands put together. Lol
Bmw doesn't do it...imo...because it's expensive and it would be embarrassing for them not to be number one at it.
When Michael Dunlop won the trophy a couple of years ago bmw sure was happy.

Had a great day in the garage....awesome race!

And I was graced by this gentleman's presence today....Baron...turned 90 last fall...this is a pic of him when he was a young man of 84 years of age on his VFR at Mission race track. Check out that lean!! He told me he was t-boned on that bike two tears ago and now has hip issues....so now he ride a 650 Bergman.....inspiring!!!
