'12 K1300R exhaust and software mod

Hi,

After 5 years on my K1300R, I decided to refresh my K1300R with some aftermarket pipes and Power Commander.

I already have since day 1 the Akrapovic BMW muffler w/o silencer but was looking at some tubing and I don't know exactly where to look for except Akrapovic, but they don't sell the racing kit individually and I already own the muffler that I love more than the Race one from Akrapovic.

So can you guys point me in the right direction to some aftermarket pipes for the K1300R but without having to buy the whole package (muffler included)?

Thanks

Cheers!

I checked all our sources and the only header kit we can get for your bike is the Akrapovic...

while I'd love to sell you one, obviously it would be much cheaper for you to buy direct from them since they are practically in your back yard...

Hi, problem is they don't sell the header separately from th muffler.

They only sell the full race system, muffler included.

Is the BMW Akra muffler the same unit as the full system muffler? I'm thinking maybe not.

I change your tires, you buy them on the web, I do the work $40, trying to keep riders on the road.

it is not...

and FYI.. the Akra full system header will NOT fit the Akra slip-on on the K1300S Motorsport edition....

Well There you go, might as well buy the full system and not look back. Maybe sell the part you will not use.
