BMW Paint

Hi, All:

I was wondering if anyone has sourced the paint for the:

Frame
Muffler tip
Rear sets

Of the three, the frame and rear sets could probably be color matched easily enough. The muffler, due to the heat, concerns me, it would be nice to be able to refresh the paint in the future.

Yes - I did buy a spare muffler on the cheap since nobody wants them... but I really am looking to save it for way done the road.

I'm hoping to paint some R&G Racing bar ends to match the frame color.

And on the rear sets, I noticed that my boots are starting to scuff them ever so slightly. I'm sure they will clean back up with a little elbow grease. Again, just thinking of the future.

Thanks!
Bill

Re: BMW Paint

A 2006 K1200R, sorry, should have included that little nugget of info to begin with. What's a 30 year K1300s?

Re: BMW Paint

color rite makes exact matches in pens, and larger sizes. i am able to clean up the microfine scratches on my saddle bags pretty good, without having to do a total paint job.

The red, white and black K1300S is a 30th anniversary bike for K bikes.
You mentioned paint for your muffler and I was thinking the 30 year bike had a painted muffler, but looking at pictures it appears to be brushed metal.
