vibration during decelration

I recently swapped an s1000rr for k1300s. I love the change so far.

Issue I see is that while accelrating, it is smooth but if I let go of throttle, I feel vibration in drivetrain (from shaft somewhere). Is there a fix to it ?

Thanks

The K13 has a rough engine feel when de accelerating at certain RPM's, Quite common.

Sounds like more of rattle around 3200 RPM. more from front than back. Still a normal thing ?

Is it a rattle or more of a whine - the transmission is somewhat noisy on decel?

Re: vibration during decelration

Hi Ashish

3500-4000 RPM is where is more noticeable the rattle, mainly rebound of the timing chain, when you accelerate the chain is smooth, but if you goes down from 5000 as example, there is a point when you hear and feel that rebound.

There are other points of vibration, 5500, 6500, 8000, but not important and depends on different bikes

Re: vibration during decelration

Welcome to the K1300s forum BTW!

Sounds to me like this could be the idler gear washer "issue" - I did the fix posted here and it made a substantial difference - check it out:
