Final Drive replacement

I am looking for a Final Drive for my '08 K1200GT. The $599 one on EBAY for the 2006-2008 is not the correct one. I need one for the integral ABS Gen2. I have struck out with Beemer Boneyard, Re-Cycle, and Pinwall. I really hate to sink 2K into one from BMW. Can anyone help?

Re: Final Drive replacement

If you are not mechanically challenged and have access to a workshop with a bearing press and some tools, you can do the two large bearings yourself (I assume that one of them failed) If you need to do the stack bearing for the pinion gear then you are in for a challenge.

Have a look on my thread:
http://www.i-bmw.com/showthread.php?t=53434

and there is a guy on youtube who really went overboard with making all the bmw tools himself...... very good step by step video.

Otherwise, keep hunting on ebay.....
