Torque settings

I am trying to locate a maintenance dvd but motorad seem to be out of stock!

I am about to fit the powerbronze hugger and would be grateful for Torque settings for the exhaust, rear wheel and final drive housing bolts!

In addition i am going to put on a fenda extender, so do you have the torque settings for the front mudguard also!

Thanks

Matt

Matt

These torque settings are right in your owners manual (imagine that!). It says....

Rear wheel bolt torque is 60 NM or 45 ft-lb
Exhaust spherical clamp torque is 35 NM or 26 ft-lb
Muffler mounting bolt torque is 22 NM or 16 ft-lb

Re: Torque settings

Thanks very much for the figures! I have wasted more than an hour googling it already!

Should have said about the manual - the dealership has lost it so i was not given one when i collected the bike on Friday, hence the questions!

Re: Torque settings

Here is a link for downloading an owners manual, http://www.bmw-motorrad.com/com/en/i...uals_main.html so you have a copy, not that there was anything wrong with the question.

Cheers
