SPOILER - Aragon MotoGP

Another race, can Rossi do anything to close in on MM? Has Pedrosa really found his mojo. And oh yes, an American in the field, Nikki Hayden filling in for Jack Miller (and struggling to come to terms with the Mark VDS Honda), and Crazy Joe out because of a fractured vertebra, imagine that, skipping a race simply because you've broken your back Pirro subbing for him. And Lorenzo is still whining about being passed by Rossi at Misano, comment here, http://superbikeplanet.com/2016/Sep/160923mnsxryder.htm

FP2 here, (FP1 below FP2 times)

Re: SPOILER - Aragon MotoGP

If anything can be taken away from qualifying and FP 3, is that the race is Marquez's to lose, unless it rains, in which case all bets are off, but in the dry MM has the next fastest, Vinales, covered by 6/10ths - hopefully it will be an interesting race and maybe it won't be so predictable because there were lots and lots of crashes, so, we'll see, here's the qualifying times,

Re: SPOILER - Aragon MotoGP

Based upon practice and qualifying the winner was predictable, and Rossi's 3rd place disappointing for him, and his fans, like me, Marquez stretched his championship lead...

Re: SPOILER - Aragon MotoGP

I watched both the Moto2 and the MotoGP. The MotoGP was a good race...nice to see MM not just win the race, but recover from a huge mistake, then get the job done!

MM's front end slide early was close - had I survived something like that I would have had to stop and change out of my brown underwear. Hate to see guys crash, but from my perspective if MM had crashed (and not been injured) it would have made for a more interesting championship chase. I'd say Rossi is now going to have to be content with another 2nd place in the championship - how he manages to stay motivated is remarkable.

Re: SPOILER - Aragon MotoGP

Anything can happen. It's amazing that Rossi DNF'd in three races this season and is still in second place in the standings. A DNF or two by MM isn't likely in the remaining 4 races and but if it happens, it's knotted up at the top. If MM runs away with it, he deserves it. He's been very mature in his riding this year.

Brad Binder was second in the Moto 3 Race and became South Africa's 3 rd Moto 3 GP world champion. He did us proud!
