Fall colors

The colors around here are pretty phenominal right now and they still have a few weeks to go ..We need to organize a foliage run.

Of course, I also need to provide for the family which I did later in the day today. Only three more cords to go . I'm only taking trees that already have fallen on my property.

Re: Fall colors

Took a 4 hour ride into lower Michigan, today. Not quite peak yet, but getting there.

My favorite time of the year to ride.

Re: Fall colors

Paul, I will be available all next week after Monday.
I took a beautiful ride throught the Litchfield hills in Connecticut last Wednesday, stopping in Danbury to make an appointm, ent with Cliff's BMW to add motolights to my new GT in a few weeks. It was spectacular, but the leaves were not ready yet.

I am leaving in the cage in a few minutes with the wife and another couple to go to Cold Spring via Brewster, & Carmel to see the current state of the foliage and have dinner at the Huson House in Cold Spring.

Give a holler if you want to try and get together next week.

Election day, I do a roundtrip from NYC to Chatham, NY with friends, and my sons and their friends so one of my frends can vote. We have been doing this for years, rain or shine. We have hit monsoon weather as well as snow flurries and real cold. Why don't you join us ?

Re: Fall colors

This is a beautiful weekend in Michigan and I will be taking a ride around the thumb tomorrow. I was going to do it today, but my brother and I went out on Lake St. Clair to pick up a few perch and then I had to go to the local pub to watch the Tigers beat the Stankees.
