K100RS Windscreen

I have just purchased an 86 RS as a bit of a nostalgia project.

I owned one when they were new and got an opportunity to pick up a low mileage clean one from a deceased estate.

It has the original clear windscreen and I would like to fit the black tinted one that I have seen on a number of RS's.

Can anyone tell me where I might find someone that makes and or sells these.

Thanks in advance.

Re: K100RS Windscreen

It has been a long time since my K100RS......and I am still nostalgic about it! I don't know if windscreens are still available for them anywhere but if not, you might want to consider painting yours. If you paint it on the inside it will look shiny outside. On my bike I had it painted flat black outside, as that was the look I wanted.
Paint sticks very well to polycarbonate, just make sure you sand lightly first and clean it good.
