New K1300GT - What's been Fixed?

I've been lurking in this forum for months educating myself about the K1300GT and its manufacturing defects. You guys have provided a real education - thanks. I'm pulling the trigger and buying a new 2010 K1300GT. I was told it would take a month to get it. I thought it was being shipped from Germany and consequently that it would have a "late" build date. After I plunked down a deposit, I was subsequently informed that the bike would be here in a week and it had a build date of 7/2009! That's one of the earlier build dates and I'm not happy about it. I think that date is even before BMW acknowledged many of the problems plaguing the K1300GT model.

The dealer says the only thing that they have to do to the bike is the software update recall. My question is, "What can/should I expect the dealer to do about all the other issues like: foaming brake fluid (I don't want a sponge in my reservoir. A sponge is not a fix, it's a birth control method!), inferior switchgear, fuel gauge failures, oil level sensor failures"? The dealer is a successful purveyor of other brands, but is new to BMW.

On a positive note, I am really looking forward to riding the new bike. With all the complaints in this forum about the bike, the subtext I keep seeing is that owners really love the bike when it's working properly.
