New K bike owner PA

I bought my 1999 K1200RS in April. I have only been riding for 2 years and this was only the second bike i have ever ridden. My first bike I bought, 2 years ago, was 1991 CB750 Nighthawk. Since i was turning 50 May 1 I thought it would be fun to go to the Grand Canyon on the K bike........I strapped my backpack to the bike and took off on a solo trip.......5,000 miles in 10 Days. The bike ran like a champ. I've included some pics.

Nice to be here.

Nice to be here.

The K12RS is a great bike, I still regret trading my 2003 in for a 2006 K12S. The brick engine was as smooth as butter with plenty of get up and go. To bad BMW abandoned the brick, it would have been interesting to see how much more performance BMW could have gotten out of the brick engine. I still see plenty of KRS bikes on the road today and it's still a great looking bike.
