New Guy

Hi All
Being to to the forum, I ask for your help in the forum navigation.
So, Iím trying to resurrect my 1985 Euro K100 RT. It has been setting for 14 yrs as a donor, used for my 1987 K100 RS/RT. Currently working on the output shaft. I have another 85 K100 RT to use as a donor for the resurrection. Having a problem getting the big end bearing free from the oil sump case.
I have been riding a K bike sense 1985 , I rode the euro bike till 2003 that I bought in Germany.
Then Silly me I bought a 2003 Road King, in 2004 went back to my old K. Something of 130K miles the bike needed a lot of replacement parts. So I bought a wrecked 1987 K100RS as a donor with 22K miles. I ended up taking the front end and body from my 85 RT and put it on the 87 RS.
So thatís my intro.
Thanks and have a great day

Welcome to the site. You can check www.beemerboneyard.com , https://ibmwr.org/index.php/ibmwr-marketplace/ , and www.re-psycle.com as three reliable sources for used parts, you can also look at the "Classifieds" button on the tool bar above., and don't forget ebay. Good luck with your project.
