Hepco & Becker Topcase and Easyrack Options

Wondering if anyone has installed the Hepco & Becker Easyrack for the existing OEM BMW tail rack, part no. 661.659
https://www.motomachines.com/hepco-b...ack-bmw-k1300s

Compared with the Easyrack without the OEM part, using just the Hepco & Becker railings to the subframe, part no. 661.639
https://www.motomachines.com/rear-ea...-k1200s-k1300s

I'm trying to figure out which option will provide the most strength for the top case cause I'm pretty sure I'm going to regularly overstuff the top case beyond the 5Kg load limit "suggestion." Thanks!

Re: Hepco & Becker Topcase and Easyrack Options

I installed the Hepco Becker Alurack on my 05 K1200S several years ago. The alurack replaced the stock clear plastic plate on the stock BMW rear luggage rack utilizing the existing "arms" used for the stock rack. I also purchased Hepco Becker's 52L top case which I've use many times. I subsequently purchased the Easy Rack for my S1000XR and use the same 52L top case on it.

Re: Hepco & Becker Topcase and Easyrack Options

Thanks Pops, appreciate it.
I just ordered the Journey 40L topcase and backrest, and Easyrack for the existing BMW rails. I'll install them soon and report back on apparent fit and strength.
