Re: Big Bend, Texas

Good memories. After hearing me talk about the Hill Country since my THCR days, my wife finally agreed to a trip in April. we're renting a convertible and heading for Cooper's. And hoping for good flowers.

Re: Big Bend, Texas

Past few years I have been going to Big Bend...stay in Terlingua and visit and hike the park and see buddy Ralph and even took my daughter last year and she loves the place.
We had a trip planned again for April but going to have to put it on hold...nine weeks of radiation 5 days a week is going to wreck that plan and then I have a back operation....this year is a write off I think but I will make it when I can. I love that place.

Hmmm... your name sounds familiar, have you posted here before?

Great to hear from you James! Yes, BB is a pretty special place for sure, a real Texas treasure. Can't remember what year, but during one pre-THCR, BB was super green with tons of flowers & cacti blooming everywhere, colors galore. As I recall, there had been quit a bit of snow that year & before whatever THCR that was.

Oh, and post some pics!
